A very interesting course about a diverse set of topics that concern The Caribbean. Readings were very important to do well on the 3 essay exams that determined our grade. TAs and Professor are very much available to help when needed. If you do not like reading and writing essays, I would not recommend this class.

An extremely understanding, kind Professor. They offered very interesting learning materials and were available for office hours.

It is important to annotate/pull important quotes for the essay exams. Make sure you are able to draw central themes/keep up with major ideas.
