Biochem in itself is hard, be prepared to study

I’m sure y’all know that biochem is known to be a hard class but if Gardner teaches it again in the summer rather than Diego TAKE THE CLASS! trust me she’s 1000000% better than Diego. Her midterm was hard and the average was on the lower side so she made her final a take home final! I literally got an A bc of the final. I love her she’s so understanding and compassionate and wants you to succeed in the class. she’s open to meeting on your time too if OH don’t work for you!

Hard *** class, but it was worth. It made me appreciate biochemistry and make me THINK rather than straight memorize things. The tests Diego had were all stuff you’ve never seen before. Hard but very helpful in terms of making you a better scientist.

Learned protein structure, function, and protein protein interactions.

Expects a lot, makes very hard tests, but a good lecturer.

Using the book to Supplement lecture was very useful
