It's a class that's going to push you out of your comfort zone so get ready to be pushed! However, you're going to meet some wonderful people that, if you continue to be an art student, you will likely continue to know for the next 4 years because they will continue to be in your classes. Make sure to participate and remember! What you put in will be what you get out. Use the warehouse and Open Studio time to your advantage and experiment, experiment, experiment! It's stressful but you'll get a lot out of it if you push through.
There are a lot of lectures/readings, but they may change how you view the world. Really, it's up to you and what little bits and pieces you get out of it.
Brilliant. Always open to questions and concerns. Always open to helping you through your mistakes and is an overall really nice guy.
Experiment, keep an open-mind, and take it one project at a time because it feels like a lot and then suddenly you're saying goodbye to the Warphaus. And don't get too discouraged by your first grade. It's all a process.

Lots of projects, lots of readings (that I never did until the day before the midterm), lots of critiques, far off campus, difficult professor, and super attendance heavy.
Not much technical skill development or any instruction but a lot of projects and idea development
N/A professor is leaving
The people in your class will become your very close friends if you do it right.
