Most of the assignments involve watch videos on how to use the functions of Microsoft office applications. The workload isn't too bad, but it can be very time consuming at times.
I would say the content was useful because it teaches you how to use word and excel which is often used in the business world.
Professor was really enthusiastic, but at times it could be hard to understand him and the videos we were given were from like 4+ years ago.
Don't wait til the last minute to do the assignments, they take longer than you would think. Do the extra credit!! Also join office hours with the TA's because they are the ones grading your assignments, so you might as well have them look it over.

Easy A, simply go to office hours for help with an assignment.
Useful skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. You can also get certified.
Heavy accent, but he cares about his student and is a nice guy. Some lectures might be confusing, but just go to the office hours and he (or a TA) will help you.
Don't fall behind.

The class itself is easy enough, and it communicates necessary skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. However, the instructions and lectures were hard to understand at times, and it took the professor a while to get to the point frequently. Also, one lecture had horrible background echo, and the lectures appear to be recycled from multiple years ago.

This class was really easy. For the first half of the semester, Professor Mendoza-Garcia will walk you through all the steps of the assignments through video so you know exactly what to do. There are some assignments later on that he does not walk you through entirely, but he still gives a lot of instruction, and going to office hours can help get you extra credit, so if you're struggling, there is really no excuse for failing an assignment. I still use a lot of the stuff I learned in this course, and I knew nothing about excel beforehand.
The hardest week's assignment took probably a couple of hours and the easiest took a few minutes. There is a lot of extra credit that is easy to do.
The professor is really nice and thorough. I liked him a lot.
The assignments usually don't take long, but that doesn't always mean they're easy. I recommend not leaving them for last, because you never know how confusing or difficult an assignment might be.

Easy course if you follow his videos and allow yourself about an hour for each assignment if you’re not familiar with Microsoft Office. Some assignments are tedious and are hard to follow, but there are office hours practically all day, every day which makes the course that much easier. Highly recommend to anyone. I learned a lot about Microsoft Office, especially in Excel.

The only "difficult" thing about this class was the poorly-written instructions on some of the assignments. His videos give you all the information you need to complete the assignments.
Basic Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint knowledge
