This class was fantastic! Professor Nichols did a great job of telling Greek Myths, and the quizzes and exams were super easy.
This class covers the most popular Greek Myths and literature.
The textbook is recommended online, but you can do well without it if you try to attend lectures.

I loved this class. It was so easy and the content was interesting. I actually enjoyed getting up for my 9:35 class because I was taking this.
She mostly lectured during class, you didn’t need to read the book to pass. There were really easy quizzes and 2 essays which were also super easy.
She was so sweet and you could tell she loved the class and what she was teaching.

Super interesting class! You never realize how many references there are to greek myth in modern society until you take this course. It was honestly very easy!
Greek mythology pretty much.
He is literally amazing. I loved him so much. Such a chill dude.
Just go to class and take notes. Study the notes for tests and quizzes and you're golden.

A super fun class, especially if you like mythology. It's easy and interesting and gives you lots of fun facts to show off with. If you're looking for an easy elective to take, I highly recommend this one.
All about Greek mythology and Roman mythology. Obviously it's not super helpful unless you're considering a career relating to one of the two. But it is still a really fun class.
Dr. Nichols is a great story teller and makes the class interesting. He's very knowledgeable in his field and was always organized for classes.
Quizzes are really the only grade in the class. However, they're easy - they come straight from the lectures. There is also a study guide for you to fill out that is very useful.

So easy, if you pay attention during the lectures and look over the notes before the quizzes and tests, you are set.

I really enjoyed this course. Nichols is a really easy going professor, he knows his material really well, and he's a pretty fun guy. This is a great elective to take if you want little coursework. We have like 4 quizzes and 3 exams, and the exams aren't cumulative which is really nice. As long as you have notes from his class, you'll do perfectly fine.
Greek mythology with a tiny bit of geography and culture. He taught a little bit of geography for those that were interested, but it really wasn't included on the quizzes/exams.
I honestly can't think of a single con for this man. He was super chill, funny, and nice. He was really passionate about what he taught, which was super refreshing.
Just make sure that you do get the notes from each class somehow, whether from a friend or your own. His PowerPoints basically states the topics of what he's talking about, but not the specific stuff that's on quizzes. He talks about the specifics in class.

Very fun course! Loved learning about Greek mythology! Not too much work, and the exams are not cumulative. Lowest quiz grade was dropped. Quizzes were suppose to be on Honorlock, but the professor forgot half the time.
Mostly Greek Mythology, with a little Roman mythology thrown in at the end. Also information about Greek society and how it influenced the mythology and changed due to mythology.
Great professor! He was very interesting and knowledgeable on the topic.
