A good option for an online course, has only 1 exam (final).

Prof: Shani Kerr / Fall 2021

Don't buy the textbook, get the PDF version. Assignments are a 3 sentence commentary discussion post on the chapter (1 per week) and a 10 question quiz per week.
Content covered development from multiple different perspectives. Not very useful for my major but I suppose it would be useful for a psych major.
Dr. Kerr was so nice and unfortunately had many hardships this semester. She nonetheless made the course easy to understand and enjoyable.
The exam was on the last day of exam week (Dec. 17th) and was not offered online... might not have taken it if I had known that I had to stay in GNV an extra week.

Super interesting and useful material.
Dana Wood is a sweetheart. She teaches several psych courses, but I think Developmental was my favorite because she really connected the material to her own life and children and made it feel useful.

DEP3053 over the summer is different from DEP3053 over the fall. There were 3 exams that would cover 5 chapters each which I thought was kinda a lot. However, the exams were pretty straightforward (definitions, concepts, etc.) Outside of exams, there were two written assignments that probably take two hours to complete. Attendance was never taken either. I used Quizlet to study and always got an A on every exam!
Jaxenne was a very chill and understanding professor. She provided a study guide for each exam and an extra credit opportunity as well for the class.
