Your basic intro to engineering course with a design philosophy spin on it. Ultimately it's just an extra thing you have to do for your major that's also hard to get a spot in.
Design Philosophy, basic engineering techniques.
The professor was great, they were just limited by the material.
Start the final project early.

good class. it’s fun, you meet other engineering majors like you, and get a refresher of what engineering is really abt. the class workload didn’t take up too much of my time, there’s was just a couple assignments with arduino that took me super long to figure out, and then the final project was pretty brutal because the professor doesn’t teach you how to code or build a circuit at all and expects you to know! lol
one assignment due every week. most assignments were simple and easy, except a couple that had to do with arduino. again, the professor didn’t really teach us how to use arduino very much so there’s parts where u have to figure out on ur own.
not the best, but it’s fine there’s not much u need to learn for this class anyways.
go to the student TAs office hours!! they helped us tremendously with our final project.

Easy 2 credit hour course. Pretty much spend the semester learning about the Aruidno kit and most parts. There was a homework assignment each week worth 5% (for my class at least idk about the others) and some were easier than others. The whole course is pretty much a piece of cake until the last two weeks where you have to do a project designing your own code and own build, which can be kinda stressful but if you somewhat pay attention each class it shouldnt be too bad. Also pray that you get a good team, because the project takes 4 people to do.
i dont feel like typing more stuff. Just take the class. Easy A
She was alright. She mostly explained about each part and talked about each homework assignments, but besides that not too much. A lot of the content will be from videos that she plays and tbh i spend most of class playing wordle on my laptop so i didnt pay too much attention but i still knew what was going on
Just have fun and do each assignment

First 3/4 of the semester is very light. There is a final engineering project at the end of the semester that has a 10 page report and recorded presentation that replaces a final exam.
Good, simple introduction for computer engineers.
She was there more for answering questions and the minimal coding knowledge and breadboarding is expected to be self-taught.
Read the first part of the Arduino manual before class since it is not taught in class.

A great class to round out a challenging schedule. Only around 2-3 hours of work around every other week.
You will learn basic 3-D printing/modeling, nothing too challenging. You will also work with Arduinos.
So nice and relaxed, loved her.
Leave lots of time for the final project, things will not go as planned

Easy freshman design class. The profs and TAs are chill. No exams or huge assignments, just a final design project that you 3d print and actuate with an arduino.
Learn 3d printing, the arduino and a couple of other basic design stuff. TA's are pretty cool and let you 3d print just about anything in office hours

Hands-on learning, very interesting class. We learned different skills useful for engineers in general. No exams, only weekly assignments and a final group project.
