The course is set up well for you to learn the statistical concepts with useful and interesting homework assignments with application problems using software like JMP Pro and GeoDa.

I took AP Stats in high school and it was a lot of the same stuff but with a decent amount taken out and ANOVAs added in and you dive much deeper into correlations.

It was an online course and Mashouk is a PhD student he's not as involved as most professors, but he doesn't need to be. His lecture videos get the job done and he gives some feedback on homework. He did post helpful announcements a few times when he noticed people were struggling with specific concepts so he definitely cares.

Focus more on how you apply what you are learning rather than memorizing since everything is open book.
