Pretty straightforward class. If you national parks, this class is for you. I personally learned a lot about the national parks and have grown quite the appreciation for them because of this class. Nice to take if you need a light and refreshing class in your schedule.
Dr. Foster seems pretty cool. I haven't really talked to him much since I'm taking the class online, but he's a good professor for the most part.
The class is pretty writing heavy with a weekly quiz, so you definitely should set aside time for the class, but the work is not difficult.

It's basically just writing, a quiz and a discussion or two every module, 2 written essay exams. Overall easy A, just turn in assignments on time, research and cite sources for papers and discussions.
Take after GLY3105 and you'll understand more of the content. It's not basic content but it's not difficult either.
There isn't much interaction with the professor.

Super fun, super engaging! Very easy tests if you study! You don’t necessarily have to be a “Geology Lover” to take it due to simple, but elegant explanations of material.
I’m majoring in anthropology—I’m gonna need to learn a thing or two about rocks. It’s very fun trivia to learn about the national parks!
The professor was very nice and responded to questions right away (24hrs or less) if you had concerns. He was into the subject that he taught and he gives good criticism!
Discussion posts are just like essays. Do lots of research!
