Viruses and Bacteria

The first two professors focus on Viruses (Dr. Karst and Dr. Tibetts) and Dr. Gulig finishes the other half of the course, which focuses on bacteria and parasites. All professors are very responsive.

Do well on the first two exams (a lot of material, but easier). The last two exams are VERY hard (bacterial genetics, physiology, a LOT of different bacteria that you MUST memorize). I passed with an A but I studied non-stop for the last two exams. The amount of material you have to understand and memorize from the later half of the course is very heavy.
