The class focuses on using excel in the first half and access in the second. There is an option to take the excel certificate exam or do a final project to count as your finals grade. The course itself is useful, though the lectures can be a bit boring sometimes. Lots of skills you can learn from this class, and it's fairly simple if you just follow along with her instructions. Lots of assignments, but it shouldn't take you too long to do.

The professor's quizzes can be a bit tricky sometimes if you don't pay close attention to her lecture videos, so be sure to take notes even on some of the smaller details.

I'd suggest taking the excel certificate exam for the finals since it does give you a certificate that you can put on your resume. The exam also isn't too hard as long as you do a good amount of practice.
