The course was very MP and Exam heavy. 4 MPs (4th one optional) - are a huge chunk of the grade. The MPs are extremely difficult if you come in without previous kernel programming knowledge. Lectures are not that planned but the professor is very knowledged and it shows. However this is not an introductory OS course.

Good content. Learnt a lot of basics and useful OS concepts. However I've decided kernel programming isnt for me - found that very challenging.

Professor is very friendly - takes questions whenever and is willing to explain concepts after class. He also assumes you come in with quite some systems knowledge.

NOT an introductory OS course. Please only take this course if you already have some OS/Systems knowledge. Take a look at the MPs and if they seem very hard right now, chances are you'll feel the same way when the MPs are given out.
