The content of the course wasn't bad, Rob was just a bad professor

Rob was a terrible professor. The first day of class he said our grade would be based on participation and how hard we tried and improved on the essays. Although he said this he did not follow this at all. There was no indication of numerical grades aligning with letter grades, but that is what he used when deciding final grades. You don't even know how you are doing until after the class when he assigns you to a grade. He doesn't even take into consideration what he said the grades would be based off of. Overall, he just picks random grades at the end of the class and is quite uncooperative with everything.
