If you are a good test-taker then this class should be easy for you. The entire grade is 4 exams, SONA extra credit, and a few attendence extra credit points. For the exams, I studied the lecture slide the night before and 30 mins before the test and got a B+ on every exam. Scott makes it clear what content is going to be on the test and what to know. He also provides review slides.

If you're more interested in the therapy/clinical side of addiction, then this class may not be fore you. Scott is more of a neuropsych prof. and this course is all about it. Personally, I hate having to remember all the ion channels and neurotransmitters involved in the brain.
