Great class. Quizzes and exams are straightforward, article critiques are done on a template which is extremely helpful, and lots of extra credit opportunities through things like SONA credits. He also drops the lowest of 5 exams including the final which is fantastic.

Essentially a rehash of everything from Quantitative Analysis but without the numbers/calculations. It’s very useful content and honestly a good refresher/reteach. Goes in more depth about research techniques/methods.

Very knowledgeable professor, teaches the class wonderfully. VERY strict on cheating but that’s to be expected. Understanding of delays from TA’s grading papers and gives extra time accordingly. Overall great professor! If you need to take this class I highly recommend taking it with Boals.

Show up to every lecture! So much material that’s mentioned from the lecture is on the exams and final. Also GO TO THE FINAL EXAM REVIEW if you will need to take it. It’s insanely helpful!
