A lot of exams with one lowest exam drop. Make sure confidence with circuit analysis (KVL and KCL). There are plenty of extra credit opportunities. Friendly advice for this class: DO NOT TAKE Dr. Andre Zeumault, because he teach heavy material science of semiconductor instead of circuit analysis.
Fundamental semiconductor, diode, MOSFET, BJT, amplifier.
Pro: Dr. McFarlane is very friendly. Working work problems on the board, approachable, and plenty partial credit. Con: Difficult exams, workload of assignments and stress.
Start the assignment (Lab and HW) early as possible. Ask questions and go to office hour.

Lots of exams, one is dropped. Most of the exams were one problem with partial credit applied to the score. This can be problematic since there are around 6 total exams throughout the semester. Making a mistake on two of those could cause you to have a poor exam average. Nonetheless the homework and lab grade help to counter act this.
Semiconductor physics, Diodes, MOSFETs, BJTs, and Small signal amplifiers
Very helpful when asked questions. Always fast with responding to emails. Understands if we are struggling and pushes back deadlines when necessary.
Study hard for the exams since those are your make or break for an A. Also start lab assignments with ample time until the deadline since they tend to be involved

Good class, lots of exams but moderately low impact per exam.
Diodes, mosfets, and BJTs.
Really nice, accessible, and gives good partial credit.
