The class is basically a review of Calc 3 (multivariable, vector calc, etc.) until the last three weeks, when you start doing complex analysis. Expect a pretty steep learning curve at that point. Midterms and homework are fairly straightforward, but the final was complete hell.
Mostly a review of Calc 3, with some complex analysis (holomorphic functions, Cauchy-Riemann equations, poles + residues, complex integration) at the end.
Didn't answer questions effectively, but explained concepts reasonably well. Teaches very slowly (took us three days to get through dot product) so you have time to catch up, and he posts his notes online. However, the lecture notes and even the homework solutions can have typos in them and are pretty messy. Also doesn't respond well to email.
Get a study group for the last unit. It's killer otherwise.
