A very good comprehensive introduction to programming IMO. Each assignment was iteratively slightly more difficult, which contributed to the effectiveness of the class.

Touched on most basics of programming, including: Binary, command shell, Boolean functions, programming functions/methods, scope, recursion, basic data structures, and loops. All in Python.

Ben was a pretty good lecturer, and helpful when contacted outside class. He is definitely one of the better CS professors at WSU V.

Any programming experience at all will help, but there are no prerequisites to this class.
