Prof: John Stewart / Fall 2021
Dec 4, 2021
Homework assignments were due at the start of lecture, and almost always went over material that were gone over... after or on the day the homework was due. As a result, you basically had to self-teach yourself the entire course through searching online videos, or deciphering posted hand-written notes from previous semesters. The class is almost designed to punish students who aren't cheating on homework basically. Lectures were mostly useless, and you basically go there just for clicker points, since the professor basically just reads off of his pre-written notes from previous semesters.
Useful information going over electricity, magnetism, and optics. Maxwell's equations (Gauss, Ampere, Faraday's laws).
Basically read off the slides/notes. Lectures felt useless. Felt like he was just going through the rounds.
Try to choose a different professor! Try to choose a lab time that's not during the busy hours, since traffic and parking can be awful at the wrong time slots.
