Prof: Jack Rozdilsky / Fall 2021
May 9, 2022
Content is good, but the prof is horrible. Evaluations are straightforward and easy. No exams, but papers (3 x 20%) and quizzes (4 x 10%).
The content was good and mostly up to date. It's unfortunate as the content was promising but the prof ruined any interest in this course. Content was focused on the effects of disasters throughout history and hypothetical scenarios in response. As well as, an introduction to different types of disaster.
Prof is atrocious. Very disorganized. Rarely responds to emails and never posts content online in a timely manner. Posted assignment information very late, making the final assignment due the last day of Fall examination, when it was originally due three weeks prior. He didn't return marks for this assignment to date. For many classes, he was absent, or in his terms AWOL. For someone strict about procedure and communication, he was hypocrite.
Take this course only for a GPA booster or with a different prof. Go into this class expecting late releases of content and evaluations. Go to office hours instead of emailing him, if you actually want a response.
