Comments on the course
Theoretical hardware side of networks (how much sound comes in if you use a long wire, how do you check for bit flips efficiently) Could be a very useful course if you want to do hardware engineering, SW side there isn't much use and it's plenty of logarithmic math. Material is fairly dry, tests don't make the most sense. Tons of memorizing. Prof does her best, but students stop attending because the material is dry
Advice
3214 is better for most people, this can be a useful course if you want to design a physical network for Bell/Rogers but isn't the best for most SWE/CS. Only take it if you can memorize equations, get ready to self-teach
