I have had to teach myself everything in this course. The professor wants us to watch a 3 hour video before each class which he records over the summer. The videos are the bare minimum in terms of explaining the content by reading the slides and scribbling on the screen, he will give some examples but it is hard to follow. In our 3 hour class, he reads the slides again. He will let us go within 1.5 hours of our class and does not want to answer any questions. You will have to watch YouTube videos on your own time which will help you realize what a difference a good teacher makes on your understanding.

Don't take it as an elective especially if you have no computer background or interests in computers. The prof just reads the slides and is confusing. When you ask him a question, he will either tell you to google it or just re-read the slide.
If you are going to take the class, make sure you understand the material and studuco is your best friend.

PS: Look into test banks ;)
Shouldn't be that difficult of a course. Honestly I was slacking off and got a 65 on the midterm. I was surprised I even passed. After that I took an organized approach to the other assignments and studied for the final as early as I could. I finished the course with an A as I scored over 80 on both assignments and got a 90 on the final exam which was worth 45%. If you put the work in the work, you will definitely get a good grade.
