Readings and a short reading quiz due before each class, uses iClicker (or turningpoint or other equivalent) for in-class participation grade. There is a fair amount of work, but for me it honestly didn't feel like much because I enjoyed the material so much! If you like mythology (or read Percy Jackson as a kid) you will probably enjoy this class.

Professor Bolmarcich is good! She is a good teacher, easy to understand, and doesn't make the class any harder than it needs to be. She is a little hard of hearing, but it doesn't have much effect on the class.

Do the quizzes! The readings can be kind of hard and arduous, but it's worth it for the class overall.
