One assignment a week and a big paper, so you have to make sure you do all the work! Even one missed assignment will drop your grade a bunch (that's what happened to me haha). The class overall is interesting if you like language and culture.

I loved professor Palomino! Very nice, good at explaining things and is very knowledgeable about linguistics.

Do read the book. The readings help a lot with assignments and understanding the discussions in class.
