This is a really fun class! You watch a movie or two every week, and then discuss in class. There is a multiple-choice exam at the end about general movie content, and 2 big essays on cultural impact stuff. You don't need to know any Japanese to take this course!

Wilson Sensei is amazing! He is so friendly and helpful, and has some amazing insight into Japanese culture and life in general.

Actually watch the movies. They're interesting! You can scrape by just reading synopses and summaries, but you get to watch MOVIES for HOMEWORK.
