Not going to lie, the workload here is ridiculous. It is not a core course. It is not an upper division course. Yet the amount of work and expectations are on par with or exceed that of the upper division requirements I have satisfied so far. Electives are supposed to be a fun chance to use a little bit of academic freedom to learn about topics that interest you but may not pertain to your career path but this elective just stresses me out too much.
Very interesting content, but not an area of study that I will apply in the real world. This is also the only course I've taken at ASU thus far that has required MLA format instead of APA.
Gives thorough feedback in terms of specifying where to improve, but comes across kind of condescending at times.
Everything I just described.
