The class was fine; you just have to study a lot for it, and it is annoying to have no assignments posted the days before, and then suddenly and magically assignments are posted a few hours before they are due, and they have to be turned in on that time; if they aren't, you will lose half of the original points.
You have to truly study your ass off for this class; if you think you can half ass it, you are incredibly wrong, and you will learn how quickly you messed up by not studying.
not important. Each professor is different.
Get an understanding of the medications ahead of time; that is extremely vital to the class. Studying is the main priority when it comes to taking this class; if you do not study, then you will not pass; it is not even a question for this class. Studying is a must. The book is widely used, and 90% of the things that they want you to do for the assignments you can find online are things that other people have done. If you study for the exams, then you're fine; everything is pretty much online, but for the exams, you have to know the material, so cheating on assignments is not a great idea in the long run. Horrible is the only way I can put it... The class is miserable; the students are lost half the time, and the teachers are confused by the information in the PowerPoint slides. This class and school are not worth it; you can find a better place to take this class
This is one of the most miserable classes I have ever taken at ASU. The class, while important, is so incredibly boring that I have no interest in paying attention to it 90% of the time. The class is so dependent on ATI assignments being submitted that if your assignment is late by even one minute, you will get half of the original points. The class and all nursing classes at ASU are dependent on the students maintaining a 77% exam average. While that is not bad at all, this class is incredibly boring
The professor themselves was nice to the students and was able to provide helpful feedback when questions were asked, but even the professor had an extremely difficult time reading the PowerPoint slides we had to use during class, and none of the PowerPoint slides were made for the semester I have completed; they were reused from previous years, and half of them don't make any sense, again to both the teacher and the students.
Don't. Literally, just don't take this class. Take your courses elsewhere at another school. This class has been incredibly horrible, and again, the importance of the class is the main reason why it has to be taken. It is still really important for anyone to know that the teachers get confused reading the PowerPoint slides that we are supposed to use; that is not a good sign.
