Good class if you’re actually into the subject (which I was kinda into but not as passionate as the other students) but very demanding as well. Each class is important as well as participation. Each night there will be 3-5 readings of 10+ pages. If you’re not really into the subject, don’t take as you’ll get bored easily and cold called.

Introduction to International Relations, so a lot of politics, foreign policy, human intervention, war, terrorism etc

Professor Krause is a very good professor if you have an actual interest in the International Relations field and he focuses on terrorism and Middle Eastern politics. However if you’re not interested he still treats/expects that you are by cold calling you and assigning tons of readings that wouldn’t be interesting to everyone else.

Definitely participate as much as you can, otherwise you’ll get cold called. Take advantage of office hours.
