Comments on the course

Very useful course if you have interest in systems development and/or study. Otherwise, I found the topics covered were far too in-depth and low level for the average comp sci student with interest in say web-dev/software-eng or algorithms. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the concepts are important to understand and I make use of them on occasion. I just don't think I needed to know how to build a kernel module, or how to rewrite to 3000th byte of an unmounted file system (at least not at this point in my career).

Advice

Attend tutorials, they will help a lot with assignments; even more than lectures imo.
