pay attention in lecture and try to do the readings, it will be beneficial to you. The non geography majors had a more difficult time so if you are taking it as an upper div elective you should try and familiarize yourself with basic human geography principles.
population trends, doubling time, population policies across the globe, population theory. the "population bomb"
Krabcaher is a nice man but he is dry and the lectures are long. He doesn't like to give A's so watch out for that.
Exams are difficult very few multiple choice, mostly short and long answer essays

this course should be relabeled as "history of geography" because that is what you will be learning rather than ideas and skills.
History of Geography as a discipline. Geographic paradigms, the Scientific method. Beliefs of influential geographic scholars.
Krabacher does not like to give out A's, literally everybody in the class got a B.
The exams are DIFFICULT. only a few multiple choice and many many short answer questions, so be prepared to write and write a lot in a short time frame.
