I had this class Mon/Wed and we got lectures on Mondays and wrote news articles on Wednesdays. That's basically how the workload is the entire semester. There's no homework and we didn't use a book. His lectures on Mondays could potentially be boring if you aren't interested in news writing, but I enjoyed it a lot.

We basically learned how to write news articles like breaking and urgent news. You don't do a lot of feature writing and other forms of journalism besides breaking news type stories.

He's super nice and understanding if you put in the effort. He prefers you to not miss on Wednesdays as you can only make up 2 missing assignments. His class is not that hard if you actually pay attention and care about what you're doing.

Just show up to class on Wednesdays at least. I've seen people hang by a thread in this class all because they kept missing.
