If you put in the time, this course is awesome. If you are looking for an easy A, look somewhere else. There's lots of amazing information about kings, vikings, religion, etc that is very worth it. But be prepared to give more time than you'd expect.

Lots of reading from lots of sources. Weekly writing journals and be prepared to cite your sources. From the content page the class looks incredibly daunting (there's 8 pages on how to write the journal for this week alone). However, once you do the readings and somewhat understand the material, this load of information just helps make it very clear what the professor wants. Also lots of extra credit if you slack behind.

Very sweet and understanding, loves to see you succeed and understand the material.

Take this class before going on a France/Europe trip :)
