The lab is difficult not because of the subject matter, but because the labs, more often than not, are way ahead of the lecture material. Therefore, you often don't have the prerequisite knowledge to know what's going on and how to make sense out of your results. What should be a straightforward class turns into somewhat of a nightmare. Pray you have a TA who will help you through the lab in a fair manner. If the lecture and the labs were in sync, it would be way more enjoyable.
