Awful, unbelievably hard, no partial credit on anything, weekly quizzes that will tank your grade, useless discussion sessions that rarely tie to class or teach anything. Waste of time, can't believe it's required. They need to fix this class.
Proofs, lots of proofs. Logic that's easy, trees that are easy, weirdly strictly formatted proofs that are hard to find resources on online. You need a turor.
Good professor but kinda assumes everyone gets it. Don't think he had a choice though.
Study and you can't miss class ever or slack. That and study the lecture notes until you understand or you will fail because how unfairly rigorous it is. Should be a 400 level class. Harder than calculus.

By far the worst class any CS student will have to take. The workload is incredibly overwhelming. It is super easy to fall behind. Homework assignment and quiz EVERY week. Awful, especially considering the workload other classes give CS students. Course seems pretty crammed and new material is rushed. Everything builds off each other, but you are expected to completely learn and understand material you've never laid eyes on within a week.
A lot of proofs/logical statements, sets, etc. It's very likely no computer science will ever use this material post graduation lol.
Wennstrom was a great professor who taught the material very well.
Do. not. fall. behind. Keep up with the homework and material. Good luck on the quizzes.
