Quite a difficult course if you don’t like physics or have never taken it in high school. Material itself is difficult and there are a lot of topics to cover but the prof did a great job with helping us out. Labs were very time consuming and the questions associated with the lab report require lots of thinking but the TAs were a great help. A lot of the difficulty associated with the course is due to the heavy workload and the content itself, not the instructional team. The LONCAPA questions take up alot of time and it’s weight in the grade is not reflective of the time it takes to complete it. The LONCAPA questions are difficult and long but the prof did go over the harder questions and how to solve them.
Prof was great and really tried to help explain difficult topics and hard LONCAPA questions.
This course is required for life sci students so it is a beast that has to be faced. The only reason this course is fairly useful is because it is a requirement for many first year programs.

A pretty good course. Midterms were decently fair and the final exam was surprisingly easy. Attending the completing the labs was also an easy way to boost your grade.
Kari was a very fun engaging prof, while I'm happy I'll never have to take physics again (it's not my strength) he was a really great professor to teach the final physics course I took.
Keep up with the work (Loncapas in particular) and study effectively for the midterms. And make sure you watch the module before attending lecture.
