Lectures are quite boring to be honest. The prof often reads directly from her notes. Guest lecturers (which are almost weekly) vary in engagement. It's definitely TA dependent, though, as they're the ones marking your tutorial reflection logs and assignments (there were two). Quizzes are open book with no time limit. And there's no final exam, which was nice. Generally, the course load was extremely light, except for when there was an assignment due.
It covers a lot of theories of helping, which is useful for anyone going into social work or any career that involves working with people. Overall, applicable information, just not delivered well a lot of the time.
If you need accommodations, even if you're not registered with SAS, she's very open to talking about what you require. There's also a grace period on all quizzes, so you don't have to use an MSAF for that. However, she does read directly from her notes and the slides, which can get incredibly boring.
