Note: took cross-listed graduate version (512). Same class, extra assignment. Well-run course. Professor isn't much of a lecturer, but works around it by not depending on lecturing. Students get the general material from the textbook and class is used for Q&A.

Some coverage of mechanics, but the main emphasis is on unsaturated soil hydraulics. Particularly useful to a hydrologist, but the geotechs probably benefit too.

Very good resource for Q&A and interesting info about ongoing developments, as per course design. Not great as a lecturer, but that isn't very relevant as the course is designed.
