This class is basically just your typical math class, but covers a wide range of topics, including logic, circuits, sets, proofs, number theory, functions/relations, etc. Basically every week is a new topic that is a complete 180 from the last. The bad news about this is that you have to get reoriented to a new topic quickly and the tests can be difficult because they cover so much different material, but the good news is that the class does not go too deep into each topic so there's not really anything super hard. It's definitely an useful class for Math and CS majors and provides a good introduction to many topics you will have to use/study in the future.

The HWs are only 3-4 problems a week, but at least 1-2 of these are rather hard and take a lot of time to do. Tests are easy if you study, but dedicate a solid amount of time to study since there are so many topics.

Dimitre Tzigantchev is a solid professor. Lectures are boring but he explains topics well. Sometimes it is difficult to understand him because he talks fast and has a moderate accent, but he also provides extremely detailed lecture notes that are amazing studying material or can even substitute for listening to lecture. Still go to class though.
