This course is so far much more interesting to me than Physics I as a CS Major.
Students will learn about electric fields, resistors, capacitors, etc. and their function in circuits. It is very useful if you ever want to make a simple circuit. The Calculus 2 co-requisite hasn't really been used so far (half-way through) and he says we won't use much more than u-substitution, which is good to know.
I'm sure he gets a lot of flack for talking down to students, but it's actually really helpful. Pay attention in class and don't make him repeat himself. He'll tell you when you're wrong and reward students that actually try to answer the questions he asks. Be curious, ask anything. He's funny and sarcastic, tells you that college is a waste of time, but makes your time worth it while you're there. He goes over problems without numbers, giving you general solutions that you can plug into later - write these down, they will be useful for the PearsonMastering homework. The first exam was easier than his problems in class, so if you get solid on those you'll be fine!
