I hate this course so much. It is a lot of work to do, and really contradictory. I have to solve a global issue but I'm limited to surveying and experimenting in Purdue? Also what's the deal with requiring the use of CAD software? My project was perfectly fine without using CAD, it didn't even need it.

You have to create a solution for a issue in the world. It is very project heavy as the project is your homework all the time. The main reason this class sucks is because it's also team heavy. If you get a bad team, you will have a bad time. You need to be able to coordinate with your team through text messaging (we used GroupMe), and you will have to present your final project to the class. You can still get a good grade if your project doesn't work. The project takes about 2 months to complete. The delivery method is Hybrid (live class offered through Teams), but you should go to class every time.

Professor is fine. He knows what he's talking about.

Choose an issue that you have background knowledge in, it will help a lot for creating a solution.
