This class has a lot of information shoved in the semester. If you go to lecture and get attendance points, do your best on HW and do well on the project you should be in good shape
The project is hypothetical but in depth. It’s kind of confusing and took my group a week or two to really grasp what they were asking for

Could be better, I wish the class was more organized with clear directions. Lots of emphasis on creating a therapeutic for a group project, but the professors provide little detail. Grades consist of a group project, in class participation, a few quizzes and homework assignments, and a final exam. Lectures are long and have a few designated discussion questions for each lecture.
Learned about choosing hits, lead optimization, biological assays, computational screening and docking, understanding toxicities and therapeutic windows, intellectual property, etc. Important stuff if you want to go into industry.
He is a good professor. There are multiple professors who teach the class (typical pharmacy style). He knows a lot about industry. Many professors in the course are very approachable.
I wish I knew more about the drug discovery process, because that is the entirety of the semester long group project.
