You must put in constant effort, though not very much
You can either read the textbook or take notes during lectures, both options will give you the same info. I prefer to read, so I went that route. You must, however, attend the seminars, because they are marked for attendance and you can ask your TA questions. It's your TA who does the marking, after all. There are three things you must do weekly: a quiz, a reflection, and seminar attendance. Do not underestimate the value of these. Together they make up 45% of your mark, so it is important to keep up with them. As long as you do them every week, you will be fine. They aren't very hard at all. In other words, you cannot succeed in this class by teaching yourself everything in the last week.
