This is not a class about social media. This is a class about leftist political theory masquerading as a class about social media. I like leftist theory probably more than the average person, but if I have to read another sentence from this textbook about neoliberalism/stratification/dialectics/whatever-deranged-Latin-term-this-pretentious-ass-author-likes-to-use when I just want to learn more about Reddit, I'm going to lose it.

Course content is utterly useless. Just ***ing read Marx if you want a leftist theory class.

Oh yeah right, the professor doesn't even teach, she just posts readings. Also, we were all forcibly switched to Lockdown Browser midway through the semester for our quizzes and final.
