2 big group projects, one involves meetings and requirements discussions like a whole job. 4 "tasks" that are projects themselves. 11 assignments. 2 quizzes. The courseload is insane. A LOT of presentations, which take time away from learning. The assignments are the most useful part and take a lot of effort. But every assignment is worth only 2.5% of your full grade. Imagine spending 3 days doing complicated stuff just for a 2.5% sigh.
Lots of breadth with no depth. Doing the assignments would be useful for learning a variety of cybersecurity tools. Instructor slides are completely unrelated to the assignments and are incoherent. TA slides are useful.
The instructor is terrible at teaching. Dense, incoherent slides. The labs where the TAs explain stuff is useful. He's also rude to students and unempathetic. Somewhat generous with grades.
Nothing could've prepared me for this.
