This class is pretty hard, however he does curve A LOT (average for exams were in the 20s). Labs also can take forever and there will be a lot of troubleshooting. HWs are difficult at first but get easier, make sure to go to office hours (TA or Karsilayan). Prof does not put in exam grades until day before the next exam. Grades in canvas are in A, B, C, etc... format which means you'll never know your actual grade. Overall, if you wanna work with semiconductors, this class is very useful, otherwise GL.

Amplifier design (Op-Amps, BJTs, MOSFETs)

Very blunt, can come off as rude sometimes. Lectures are hard to follow, but lecture slides are good. Curves a ton due to low exam avgs.

Do HWs and pre-labs as early as you can. Do sample problems for exams. GO TO OFFICE HOURS, TAs are pretty helpful and are a lot nicer than Karsilayan. Submit assignments even if they aren't finished, if you miss more than 2 assignments (Lab or HW) without excuse you get a 0 for the entire category.
