It was an awful learning experience, it took so much of my time and effort to pass. Despite getting and A-, I would not take it again.

You learn the origin of Rock and Roll, starting from slave songs and the delta blues. You barely learn about anything after 1985.

The professor sucked all of the joy out of music. He makes learning boring and expects you to learn extreme details about every band and song.

Be prepared to spend 6-9 hours a week learning, studying, and taking notes to pass.
