Comments on the course
Great course taught by a great professor! Our course focus was the Black Prairie Archives Anthology by Karina Vernon, and about Black and Indigenous historical texts in general. Lots of great resources to look at in this course, and we even had a few opportunities to meet the authors of the texts we had read in class! This course is decently workload intensive though, especially for the final project, so stay focused and work hard.
Advice
The grading can become a little harsh at times, but if you listen and build off of what was said by your TA and Prof in your writing feedback, you should be able to be pretty successful in this course!
