This course is really hard but if you pay attention and practice a lot it is manageable. Prof Nightingale is very nice and eager to help, DEFINITELY go to her office hours, she will break down the hw problem for you and help explain it. Also get tutoring from TASS and ask for TA during TA OH. You will need this class in CIE if that's your track.
