This is the first semester this class has ever been offered at UB, and it's one of the worst I've ever seen. Over the semester it is taught by 3 professors and a TA, all of which are completely disconnected from each other content and teaching style wise. Each class has minimum an hour of reading prep for it that is also completely disconnected from the in class material. Papers are graded weirdly harshly. Attendance is a huge part of your grade. No electronics are allowed, including phones for work or personal emergencies.

Gwynn Thomas as a professor is terrible to deal with, and I genuinely feel bad for the other women who have to teach the class with her. She is so condescending towards them and their TA, and always assumes she is right and must speak over anybody who doesn't agree with her opinions.

I wish I hadn't taken it the first semester so I had other people's opinions, and I wish I knew just how much reading it would be
