If you have any interest In 3D art, construction, welding, etc this is the perfect introductory class. 3D concepts is required as a pre-req but the two courses cover little of the same content.

Whereas 3D concepts introduces students to the fundamentals of aesthetics in sculpture, this class expands upon techniques. Rhino 3D software was required when I took it, but students were sent a link to a free trial.

I think this is actually her last semester but Kellam is such a pleasure. She's fantastic to talk to, hardworking, and so SO helpful.

Read the syllabus and work on concepts ahead of time. The assignments are so broad that having ideas weeks in advance saves you a lot of time rethinking your project.
